TLDR;
- Software updates coming on May 30th, 2022
- Device Server will be updated to 2.7
- Most settings for Sharing Station event creation will be moved to a new step called “Add-ons”
- 2.7 Device Server will be required for any new events created in new dashboard
- “Old” Sharing Station dashboard will be available until August 1st, 2022
What should you do?
If you update immediately…
- Any event you create in the “old” Sharing Station process prior to May 30th, 2022 should be double checked once you install the 2.7 update.
- Double check your sharing settings , branding & add-ons
If you DON’T update immediately…
- You will still have access to the “old” Sharing Station process until August 1, 2022
- If you create an event with the “new” Sharing Station process, it will not work on Device Server versions prior to 2.7
